Early Career Researcher
Early Career Researcher

Early Career Researcher registration type constitutes within 5 years of the terminal degree.

Membership fees are as follows:

Tier 1: $70 US

Tier 2: $60 US

Tier 3: $25 US

  • Participants from low-income countries http://data.worldbank.org/income-level/LIC (list of countries pasted below)
  • Participants who do not have a job as academic or professional in university, government, hospital, or private company
  • Students currently enrolled in a higher education program irrespective of country (official confirmation must be issued by a Supervisor, Personal Tutor or equivalent)

Tier 4: $35 US

  • Early career researcher participants
  • Early Career Researcher registration type constitutes within 5 years of the terminal degree.

IAB Membership benefits include:

  • The right to register to the Word Congress of Bioethics (WCB)
  • For Early Career Researchers – the right to apply for a travel bursary to the WCB
  • The right to vote in elections to the Board of Directors
  • The right to be nominated to the Board of Directors
  • The right to request IAB support for activities of IAB Networks one is a member of
  • Access to IAB secretariat services for publicity (subject to IAB Board approval when needed) of bioethics events, activities, publications, etc. on:
    • IAB Facebook page
    • IAB Twitter account
